Stacey Solomon Brings the X Factor to Beacon Bingo Cricklewood
February 03,2025Stacey Solomon added another dimension to the Ultimate Bingo Experience when she entertained over 1200 customers at Beacon Bingo Cricklewood on Saturday evening 30th January. As Stacey made her entrance there was a sudden surge to the stage by the audience armed with mobile phone cameras to capture their own image of the Dagenham Diva.
Singing four of her favourite songs from the X factor show, Stacey brought the house down with her final song 'Who Wants to Live Forever' a song that must be hotly tipped for her first single.
Intent on making sure she provided a 'full house of entertainment, Stacey also called the last game of bingo. This proved to be hilarious as Stacey mixed her personality with bingo slang such as 'Clickety Duck' 62 and 'Droopy Draws' 44. Stacey was only meant to call the line, but insisted on calling the whole game as she was having so much fun!
One lucky bingo player was overjoyed at winning £1,000 and has a great story to tell about Stacey Solomon calling their numbers before becoming a recording artist.
Stacey then teamed up with Paul Cooke, the General Manager, for a searching question and answer session:
Would you ever consider becoming a bingo caller?
You’ve just seen how I called so I don't think so!
Did you get to keep all the dresses on the X Factor?
Yeah we did, but I don’t know where I'm going to wear them, I might look a bit overdressed in Romford.
Do you get excited about everything you do?
I’m alive!
Are you excited now?
I’m off the scale!
What were your greatest experiences with X Factor?
Working with Dannii, singing with Michael Bublé, there were so many.
Do you have any funny stories from the X Factor show?
I remember when we had some children on the show and they sat in the judges seats. I said to Simon they can judge, they're better than you. Then I thought oh no what have I done, he can rid of me! He's a big softy really!
What are your plans after the X Factor tour?
In April we get to do whatever we want to. I just want to sing to as many people as I can.
Who are your heroes?
How is my hearing did you say?
No, who are you heroes?
My Mum (Big sigh from audience, then applause) I love my Mum – what would I do without her?
If you had to be a cartoon character, who would you be?
Snoopy!
How about Snow White?
No thanks, Snow White eats a poison apple! Any princess would be OK as they always get to marry a Prince!
What are your favourite children programmes?
I watch C Beebies all day with Zachary, it sends me to sleep and he ends up running around the house!
As the audience laughed and applauded, Stacey was presented with a well earned bouquet of flowers and left the stage with echoes of 'Stacey we love you, you’re beautiful. The audience were still pressed against the stage and taking their last photographs on their phones as she left.
As she returned to her dressing room, she was offered sushi and profiteroles. She delicately refused and said she would pick something up on the way!
"Would you prefer a cheese sandwich?" she was asked, "I'd love one" she replied, "Do you have some tomato?"
The one thing that remains when Stacey leaves is the smile on the faces of everyone who witnessed her stunning performance at Beacon Bingo in Cricklewood.
